And for the next 5 days, we're going on vacation!
For the first time in our 10 year history, we're shutting off our computers (and phones...and tablets...) and spending some quality time with our families. This means that orders made this week, will not be shipped out until next week after December 5th.
While we know you, our current (or hopefully future) client will understand why we want to spend the holiday season focusing on our families, we are offering a special 5% off your entire order, no restrictions or limitations, to everyone who orders a Tire'd watch while we are away as a token of our thanks and an apology for the slight wait!
Use code FAMILY for an additional 5% off your order from today, November 30th until Wednesday, December 6th, 2017. Shipping is always free.
And always, thank you for your business. We value and appreciate every client.
Happy Holidays from our family to yours.

XTS Chrono in Gun Metal (Our bestselling watch)
Many people are turning to designs that move the crown 180 degrees from the traditional 3 o' clock position. Here are three reasons why watch connoisseurs are embracing 9 and 10 o' clock crowns.
Locating the crown at 9 or 10 o' clock eliminates 'wrist bite'.
Most of us wear our watches on our left wrists. It's a question of dominance. With our watch on our left wrist, the right, dominant hand is freed up to complete the more challenging tasks. The crown is typically located at the 3 o' clock position for easy access and manipulation by the right hand. But this creates a conflict of metal and flesh, particularly if the watch is substantial in weight and style.
Athletes and outdoorsmen alike often complain of wrist bite when they wear their watches to swim, dive, or mountain bike. Their feedback has created a 'movement' of watches that live up to high performance and quality standards.
Any active man or woman knows the annoyance that comes from the crown getting snagged on zippers and protective clothing. A crown at 9 or 10 o' clock protects both the movement from the clothing and the clothing from the movement.
Placing the crown on the opposite side of the case also protects the movement from whatever environment it is subjected to.
If you're a leftie, you're in luck. While the benefits described above only apply to right-handers, if you are left-handed, a watch with a 9 or 10 o' clock crown will give you a traditional, classic look.
]]>Unlike the typical chronograph, XTS CHRONO Crown is positioned on the left hand side of the watch case at 9 o’ clock. This design choice is rooted in the belief that a watch should be comfortable at all times, not just when your wrist is in a neutral position. All internal components are aligned to reflect this left side orientation.
The XTS Chrono watch delivers on it's design promise. "Finally a watch for the active person." says 5 star reviewer. "The concept of putting the dial on the inside, rather than jammed up against the back of your hand, was very innovative. This, coupled with it's solid construction, makes it an ideal time piece for the adventurer."
The XTS Chrono case is constructed of the highest quality stainless steel for the ultimate in durability and ruggedness. The watch feels substantial on your wrist because of the weight of this industrial rated material.

Two brands, both rugged and both refined, Tire’d Watch Company and Land Rovers UK have announced their partnership. This is the first time the two brands have collaborated to share a vision that embraces extreme activities yet maintains luxury of the highest quality.
This partnership appeals to both Land Rovers UK and Tire’d’s key strengths and builds on the shared foundations of functionality, design and durability. The core identity of each brand centers on resurrection as watches and vehicles alike are brought back to life and redefined as landmark icons. Both brands emphasize the importance of substance and to successfully create a product and vehicle that suits every lifestyle.
The element of recycling is strong and a core value for both companies. Here at Tire’d, we sought to recycle tires and transform this material into a stylish yet versatile watch strap. In contrast, LRUK salvage old Defenders once thought to be lost or forgotten and restore these vehicles to their former glory, yet come prepared for our current climate, extreme, unforgiving and unpredictable.
Tire’d Watch Company founder and CEO, Ed Cole has been an avid fan of Defenders for decades and has always been on the look out for one himself. After searching tirelessly on the Internet for his dream Defender, he found Land Rovers UK and made contact. When speaking with Andy Hayes, Managing Director of LRUK, Ed recognized the passion he had for Defenders, as it mirrored his own philosophy he had for his watches. As Ed explains, “it was a relationship which began on the phone and Andy had every answer”. Ed reiterates that the staff at LRUK helped him feel comfortable and exerted no pressure on his decision.
I like immediate gratification. Awaiting my company’s watch prototypes and building this Defender are the only two times I have waited for something.
– Ed Cole, Founder and CEO of Tire’d Watch Company
